Can you hear the giggles!?!!?!?! - Oops.  I have words again!

 

'Twas a great one!  Unlike any I have experienced before in my 32 years of life!

 

It started off bright and early to get across town....I did the Race/Walk for the Cure (5k walk) with my mom and sister-in-law.  It was practically the 1yr anniversary from my mom's diagnosis so this was fitting and frankly it totally ROCKED!!!  There were about 50,000 participants....2,000 of which were survivors....my mom too.  We got to walk around an oversized perimeter of Mall of America....there was entertainment and fun all along the way.  If you don't believe me on the numbers, check out these pics:

 

 

 

Later, the survivors were given the royal treatment (the whole weekend actually)....a concert with the best seats in the house (my mom is some where in the middle of the sea of pink shirts/hats I guess) and at the end there was a survivor picture and streamers flying everywhere like a New Year's Eve Party!   

 

 

My sister-in-law and I did not see the whole concert because we walked some extra steps (across a large parking lot) to Ikea to get our FREE Mother's Day Breakfast Special!  This is what the best tasting FREE (99cents worth) breakfast looks like....in the whole wide world!:

 

 

The rest of the day was spent with the extended family with more good food and fun with kids....

Where do you find your creativity?

 

That is what Beth calls it when she is feeling girly and pretty and wants to show off her dance flares and kicks.....music is not necessary!  Typically it is after she puts on a dress and gives it a good twirl...but this day she loved the leotard that I got at a garage sale...wore it two days straight over the top of her regular clothes.    So much personality this one!! (Ok, well both of the munchkins, but today's entry is about Beth so that is why I said one.)

 

    

 

Ah, dancin' like her momma.....still to come somehow....our family quartet of music and dance!

 

In case translation is needed: Beth is saying "W(L)ook at Momma" and "Watch Momma, Ah (I'm) gone (gonna) make a see (silly) face fo(r) you" quite frequently!!
