    Potty Training has officially begun!!!

Oh my.....before I started I knew that I really didn't know what I was doing but I had put a little plan together and I would just try it because we need to start somewhere and see what worked and what didn't....Oh my....Oh my....Oh my....I am just not sure that I have any answers...I do have stats though.....is it dorky or an over share or just plain nuts to put the stats here?....Oh well, here they are.  Nerd

The stats for the day are: 6 accidents, 27 successful deposits into the toilet (I have the sticker chart to prove it), lots of talking, towels, timer beeps, hand washing......Tyler gets it, he is very smart, he loves the stickers and the "prize bag" thing we've got going (ahhh, gotta love bribary Wink), but Oh my, I just don't know if I know more or less after today. Tongue out  Today is only day one and we are in this for the long haul so don't get me wrong, I am not about to throw in the towel or anything, ....it is just that (for example) there was a 2 hr. time frame where I was laughing internally because we where running to the bathroom (super happy, almost sing-songy) in about 10 min. intervals...sometimes even more frequent.....those times are not the intervals that I heard from others...ever! Surprised  And Beth surely didn't understand it all, but she was right there chasing after us and working her way into tight spots just to see all the things Tyler and I were looking at.  Oh my....that is the only thing that I can say at this point...the end of day 1.  We shall see how tomorrow goes. Smile

    Beth's Hair...

....is getting so long.  Yet, it is still very fine and so I just keep trying to let it grow out until some sort of a style for a hair-do hits me as being a good/fun idea to try.  (She hasn't truely had hair up until this point so it is fun to see how her girlie feminine beauty is coming out.  Smile)  Until the "do" hits me, Beth has to live with hair in her eyes....or does she!?!?!? Wink I have been attempting to put different hair clips and barretts in her hair.  She really doesn't like me messin' with her hair.  After about 2 weeks of varying effort on my part, we might be making progress and she might just leave the hair clips alone.

    Tyler is 3

    What a big boy!!!!

He is into anything with wheels (especially trains right now), loves the Lion King movie (He almost always refuses to answer to "Tyler....I am Nala" and his bear is Simba), can talk your ear off with long detailed stories, loves to ride in the car and go for errands, wants to help shovel snow, helped make his very own birthday cake and cupcakes, is on the verge of potty training (mommy needs to get her act together), has an imagination that seems to be on all the time!!!......  Wink  Fam L8 Mar 08-180Fam L8 Mar 08-243 Here is Tyler the Party Animal so pumped to be 3, getting big, playing with this friends, so excited that "Woohoo and Opie" (the GeoTrax, FisherPrice trains) are on his cake!!!Open-mouthed

PS- We had a special guest at the party...my grandma from Iowa.  I thought that I was the one most excited about the special appearance until I saw this: Fam L8 Mar 08-253 Red heart

    The Twins Win!!

We had a great time at the Home/Season Opener and Torii Hunter reunion...a packed stadium, dome dog, free hats...SWEET.....the kicker/early April Fool's joke was that the power was out from about 5p-7p that night at our house.  That made things a little interesting.  Surprised
