....and that means Nathan actually gets a birthday!!!

We are saving the "Party" for tomorrow.  Rather we get to spend the day closing on our old house.  What a GREAT DAY!

We've been relying a little more heavily on "the babysitter" lately to make it through the transition of moving/unpacking/cleaning.  The kids have been having a blast with her....SO HERE IS A SHOUT OUT TO KATIE....A GREAT ONE!!!

 

Ya don't need those silver static ball things that you see in science labs or at the museums....you just need a good ole Minnesota winter full of dry air!!!

 

....and it is starting to feel like home. 

 

We were slowly moving things in since the closing (a box or two here and there).  Feb. 8/9 were the official days that we moved in.  Since then, most boxes have been emptied and sorted.  Necessary things have their "place".  High traffic areas have been child proofed and decluttered.  Ahhh. 

 

It is a week today and the time has flown and ticked away slowly all at the same time.  How is it possible?!?!  In some respects, it seems like we have lived here for a very long time.  I like that feeling because then "our house" will be "our home" soon.  (We've been working on some of this old/new house stuff with Tyler.)  And the kids have adjusted very well over all.  I thought that the nights would be the trickiest because they don't always sleep the best when we travel...the reality has been that the days are the trickiest right now....which is rooted in a gazillion reasons only to be magnified by the "stress of the move" syndrome.  So, we are going with the flow.  And things are good.
