    Here we gooooo.....

....Today it is official.  Our house is on the market.  Phew!!!! A ton of cleaning, sorting, rearranging, painting, throwing, storing, donating, and even some purchasing....and now we are at today....with a sign on our lawn (in the snow), an MLS #, the works.  So now we play the waiting game until our place is sold.  (With the two small children that means a lot of extra cleaning because so many messes get created just by living but as of right now, Tyler likes to pick up his toys.  Beth is young enough to be oblivious, yet is teething and so she is a little extra fussy and not sleeping as well.)  What we do next is really up to God  because we have some generalities that we are looking for (a guest room, a basement, a yard, a three car garage, and no shared walls) but location, style, other features, school district,.....we aren't too picky...or maybe I should say that we lack clarity and/or specifics.  But with our house now finally ready to show, we feel that we are more free to start talking specifics for the next phase.  WooHoo.  What cracks me up is that our relator did such a good job advertising our place (in my opinion), that when I saw the listing I was excited to buy this place all over again.  Wink

Star  I thought that I might put a link here to our listing but then I thought about how that info might get abused...so if you know us and our address, I will let you do the research yourself.

    Intro to Santa

Last night was a "Family Fun Night/Christmas Party" at our local YMCA.  It was advertised with crafts, bingo, snacks, open swim after 7p, open gym, and a bouncy maze thing....so since we thought is sounded like fun, we treked over there to see what fun was to be had..and heck, it was free, which is always nice.  Open-mouthed Beth ate her way through the night....that was about the only activity at her level.  Wink  Tyler loved the snacks (popcorn) and the bouncy thing.  He was reluctant to do the crafts until his friends Faith and Josiah showed up.  Since they did the crafts....then it was cool to do crafts with the big kids.  Tongue out  (Oopsie on my part because after all that I left his crafts there so I assume they have now been pitched.)  Santa also made an appearance.  Tyler scoped him out for a very long time before ever approaching the man...and then he avoided all lap contact all together. YMCAXmas Party 07  Here are the "Polaroids" that I scanned in.  (Polaroids.  They still make 'em.)  So any way, we are OK with this because I really don't want my kids to run up to strangers with out thinking.  And, we haven't figured out the whole "Santa" thing yet...and he is only 2 1/2 so all we told him so far is that he is a nice guy that gives gifts to people...like Jesus gave us the best gift of all.  And that is that....More will need to be said as he gets older.

Tyler wants to tell you this about his night:  Some parts were fun, like me and daddy and Santa, It was fun at the YMCA, I had to get some pictures, I played, I liked the big bouncy thing,...and that's it mommy.  I want to see the red smily face Angry and push the purple thing.  Can I do that now?  Baring teeth (Tyler picked this last face to end it....I guess he liked it because neither of us are angry...Hmmm)

An Early Merry Christmas to you!
